THE END OF THE DAY


The end of the day has come,
And everyone is going home.
The boys and girls run home from school
Where they have studied all day,
And have played in the pool!
The milkman and his horse come home from work
And a piece of cake and rest they deserve.
The birds fly home from the skies,
To tell their chicks stories
And they don't tell them any lies!
The end of the day has come
And everyone is going home.
Until tomorrow morning,
When work will begin again!
